Tateomi Fujino is a Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer of Churchill Finance Japan (CFJ), responsible for all compliance-related functions for Churchill’s Japan operations. Tateomi’s responsibilities include reviewing company materials, ensuring the firm’s policies and procedures are fully in compliance with all laws and regulatory guidelines, and overseeing Churchill’s finance, tax, legal and HR matters. Prior to joining Churchill in 2020, Tateomi was a Representative Director of Friends Provident International in Japan. Earlier in his career, Tateomi served as Managing Director of T. Rowe Price Japan and Head of Compliance of Invesco Japan. Tateomi began his career in investment management at Morgan Stanley Japan. Tateomi received a B.A. in Law from Keio University, where he graduated at the top of his class, and an M.A. in Law from Keio University Graduate School.
