Mike Shaffer joined Churchill in 2022 and is currently a Managing Director and Associate General Counsel. Prior to joining Churchill, Mike worked at Katten Muchin Rosenman, where he spent six years, most recently as a partner in Katten’s structured finance group. Earlier in his career, Mike worked in the corporate lending group at Winston & Strawn, in global finance and debt products at Alston & Bird and in capital markets at Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft. Mike received a J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School and a B.S. from Cornell University.
