Matthew Dameron joined Churchill in 2023 and is currently a Director of Asset Management responsible for default and special servicing, including management of outside legal counsel, non-performing loan resolutions, and risk management. Prior to joining Churchill, Matthew worked at PeerStreet for four years, where he managed a distressed loan portfolio of more than $500 million in commercial real estate-backed loans. Earlier in his career, Matthew spent six years in the special servicing group at Ciena Capital, where he managed a portfolio of SBA and conventional loans. Matthew received a J.D. from Campbell University, an M.B.A. from Campbell University, and a B.S. from Mars Hill University.
