Takuya Sugimoto joined Churchill in 2023 and is currently a Director of Churchill Finance Japan (CFJ), responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment functions in Japan. Prior to joining Churchill, Takuya spent two years at the Financial Services Agency (Japan FSA) monitoring retail financial products. Earlier in his career, Takuya held various pivotal positions at Barclays, including Head of Credit Structuring Japan, and worked at Morgan Stanley for nearly 15 years. Takuya received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an L.L.B. from the University of Tokyo.
